Two Days Left

We had two days left of the project and have only worked one day. Ouch!!!!  How are we ever going to get this home built.  There is one way we can do this, actually this is the only way.  We can allow God to use us to our full capacity and His timing is always perfect.  This is just what happened.  These young people with the help of their chaperones, Mike, Tino and Pastor Carlos built this home in two and half days.  Were they exhausted by all means they were totally exhausted but God provided them everything they needed to get this job done for His Kingdom.  These young people never wavered no matter how hot or tired they got.  They pushed forward.
Harrison shared in God moments one evening we needed two days to complete the home and God gave it to us.  The Hondurans had stopped protesting those two days for whatever reason.  I call this God's grace and mercy on Santos, NHBC Youth group, Mike, Meida, Tino and Pastor Carlos.  God's timing is always perfect.
Because the very next day the day they were to fly out the protests started up again.  So as tired as these guys were they got quiet early on Thursday morning to make sure to be at the airport and Mike and I  could get back down to Mt. Horeb before the protests got cranked up.  God is so good.
So yes we finished the home in 2 and 1/2 days.  Not  probably good on the home structure but as Pastor Brian shared in God moments one evening the significance of having a roof over Santos' head and a raised floor so she will not get wet, a lock on her door so she can sleep secure.  We provided this week so much security .  Even though some may not have been working on the home they were sharing Jesus at VBS and that is eternal.  We all worked so hard for the common goal a home for Santos and family but most of all to be shining lights for Jesus in El Limonal.
