Mike and Bert brought ten new friends to Mt. Horeb this past week and we were all forever blessed. Mike brought Ginger and her lindos a puzzle of Mt. Horeb, a 1000 piece puzzle which we cannot wait to start working on and framing it with wood from Mt. Horeb and to hang it up in the multi- purpose building. What a very thoughtful gift. The boys and Ginger have enjoyed sitting around together with or without teams working multiple puzzles and the boys are much better than Ginger at working puzzles. Of course Ginger cried when receiving such an amazing and thoughtful gift for the ministry campus. We are pretty sure we will be working the puzzle to completion during Holy Week.
Happy Happy Birthday Pastor Carlos. This was a very special time for all of us. Pastor Carlos was able to enjoy one of his favorite cakes from his favorite bakery in his hometown. Manuel got pure pleasure out of cracking a couple of eggs over his father's head, a Honduran tradition. God has truly blessed this ministry with such a godly man who loves serving His Lord along side of Mike and Ginger. We gave Pastor Carlos a special birthday present. One of the team members, Chris is an illusionist and performed some magic tricks for Pastor Carlos. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed Chris and his magic except our Martha, after a day or so Martha came around and realized it was only tricks no magic. This was such a great start to one special week.
