Sharing the Gospel

One afternoon Amanda asked if she could share salvation bracelets with Hilsi and her family.  They all said yes as they were cleaning and making some afternoon coffee for those who wanted some.  So Amanda disrupted their afternoon unknowingly because they always welcomed us in their home.  Their home was like an open door policy.  Where I am going with this is would you just let someone come into your home unannounced and share an activity with you?  We learned this past week how much hospitality the Honduran families have to share with others.  They have so little yet give so much more of themselves to others.  So of course they told Amanda yes to her request.
Amanda proceeded to share what each color bead represented in the line up on the bracelet.  Marie quit breaking up boulin cubes to let Amanda put her bracelet on her wrist.  Marie was cooking the chicken soup to feed about twenty folks when Amanda walked up wanting to share the love of Jesus with her.  Marie and Hilsi are Christians but not sure about the children or Wendy.  So this fine Honduran morning Jesus was shared with about eight people because Amanda asked and Marie said yes.  So I guess this was a Mary and Martha story, but both women were Mary in this story because they both took the time to sit at the feet of Jesus.  Thank you Amanda for taking the time out of your workday and thank you Marie for taking the time out of your workday to share in the love of Jesus.  Let's pray if someone did not know Jesus that day they heard the story and will want the most precious gift of all Jesus!!!!!
