Yard Work

Well when Gloria started sweeping up around the yard it led to another project.  Trevor and Tyler asked what else could they do to help clean up the yard so their home would be completely gorgeous all the way around.  Luis asked if they would move the huge pieces of timber laying in his yard up to the side of the front of the house near the road.  What a task these gentlemen under took that beautiful hot morning.  But they were determined to do this for their new brother in Christ Luis.  Realistically there was no way Luis could have moved those pieces of lumber by himself.  It finally took Richard and Tom coming over to help move one of them.  After all they timber was moved up the hill, oh yes did I share that timber was moved up the hill over very unlevel terrane to the front side of Luis' property.  Well Luis then headed to the other side of his property to start moving that timber.  I shouted gentlemen I think he still needs your help.  So off they go to the other side and by then the two Miguels were finished with the roof. So they joined in to help move more very heavy timber to the other side of the property.  After all this was done, trash was picked up and burned.  Yard was swept up beautifully by Gloria and we were winding down our project at Nacaome.  But the very most special part of this timber story is this gentleman who now owes his own home but truly has very little income to provide for his family because of his minimal job of a man you Majette wherever he can to put food on the table was giving, "giving" this timber to another family to help them build a make shift home of their own.  What a lesson for all of this day.  He could have sold this timber and got money but he instead gives this timber to a friend who also needs some type of home for his family.  Honduras lives out the Bible every day if we only open our eyes and look. Thank you Luis for setting the example of what a true Christian is and how we all should live it out daily in our own lives.
