The Block Station and More

This small team of eight jumped in and got to work after introductions.  Immediately team leader Mark saw the need to move the blocks out of the foundation into the block cutting station.  So formed an assembly line and starting stacking up 160 blocks for cutting for the first two days.  Mike needed a volunteer to do this task because of pulling out his back the day before.  Chris stepped up to the plate and learned how Mike wanted the blocks cut.  Mark helped knock out the nubs in the blocks to use later in the week to fill in the fifth and tenth course.
As the block cutting crew continued others pitched in to unload the doors and windows off the truck.  The sand was being sifted for the first batch of mescal for the first block.  Diane watered down the boards preparing the boards for the mescal. There is so many different little jobs needed to just get ready for the first block.  Pastor Hector who is so much more capable to do a more intense job was sweeping off the foundation to prepare it for the first layer of mescal and blocks.  Thank you Dexter, David and Jarod for unloading the doors and windows.  Thank you for everyone bringing your first morning together so smoothly.
