Our Last Leg To Las Uvas

Here we go one more time on our one and half journey up to our little piece of Heaven called Las Uvas.  Mike and I were in the middle of the caravan as we start the journey.  Tino blinks his lights for Mike to stop the caravan.  So Mike pulls over and stops.  Tino comes up saying the bucket of chickens need to be tied down. Now Tino was at the back of the caravan and saw the bucket moving back and forth on the Kia.  Really Tino?  Tino was worried his lunch was going to fall out or get taken going up the mountain and Mike and I were right behind the Kia and did not see this unfolding.  Mike shared with Tino you just wanted to get in the middle of the caravan so you would not be eating dirt, as they all started to laugh.  So the men tied the chickens to the Kia and off went again.  But then Pastor Carlos stopped the caravan and ask if all the Honduran men in the Land Cruiser could get on the back of the Kia for extra weight because there was not any materials to weigh down the Kia going up the steep roads into Las Uvas.  So our four Honduran angels jumped out of the Land Cruiser onto the back of the Kia.  They continued to jump a whole lot more as they made their way up the mountain. Every time Pastor Carlos was about to climb the men on the back of the Kia started jumping up and down to put more excessive weight on the Kia.  We work with some very smart Honduras I must say.  They were able to get to the top of Las Uvas successfully one more time to finish Rudy's home.
